Maintain general ledgers for all Rhode Island properties, including sportsbook and iGaming operations. Oversee monthly close process. Aid in the preparation of monthly financial statements. Prepare quarterly reporting packages due to corporate. Oversee the collections of inter-track settlements. Maintain contract files. Balance monthly cash accounts. Reconcile all balance sheet accounts. Analyze various monthly general ledger accounts. Prepare and maintain monthly Sales Tax reports. Responsible for all remittances to the Rhode Island Lottery. Responsible for federal and state remittances to the Department of Treasury and State of Rhode Island, respectively. Responsible for submissions of marketing reimbursement packages to the Rhode Island Lottery. Responsible for maintaining accounting policies and procedures. Coordinate with shared services for accounting processes handled by Corporate including payroll, fixed assets, leases and income taxes. Yearly filing of IRS reports: W2G, 1099s and 1042s. Backup for daily cash reporting. Backup for wire transfers. Reconcile Keno reports for reimbursement of bankroll. Backup for database maintenance of tote information. Qualifications Required 5 years of experience in analysis including general ledger, month-end close processes, quarterly reporting, etc. Four-year degree in Accounting. CPA designation is preferable. Casino or hospitality experience is a plus. Extensive use of ERP software and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access). Excellent writing skills and analytical mind. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents such as technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
