This position offers the convenience of a remote work setting, allowing you to connect with clients from the comfort of your home while making a meaningful impact in their lives. Our structured work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., providing a stable work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms.

• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

• Implement evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to promote effective coping strategies.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care practices, fostering a supportive recovery environment.

• Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans based on observed outcomes and feedback.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to coordinate comprehensive and client-centered care.

• Stay abreast of the latest research in mood disorders to continually refine treatment approaches and best practices.

• Compile and maintain accurate, confidential records, adhering to ethical and legal guidelines governing client information.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities.

• Advocate for clients to address mental health stigma and foster awareness of mental health needs within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your expertise will primarily benefit clients experiencing mood disorders, including those facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. You will also work with vulnerable groups, including refugees, individuals experiencing homelessness, and survivors of domestic abuse, thereby contributing to the betterment of their mental and emotional well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n

• The annual salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
