Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg/Tele

Job Details:

• Evening/Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend and holiday rotations based on operational need
• Two weekends per six-week schedule period, with option for more weekends if desired
• Travelers are required to float as needed
• Must have a minimum of two years of acute care experience within the last three years
• Travel experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Wisconsin RN or compact RN license required
• BLS certification required - AHA only
• Must pass a Telemetry exam prior to start with a passing score of 80% or higher
• Telemetry exam requires 100% identification of lethal rhythms including ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, and asystole
• No incorrect answers permitted on questions regarding 3rd degree heart blocks
• Two attempts allowed to pass the telemetry exam; a third attempt may be granted upon submission of a cardiac interpretation review course completion certificate
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Required skills include blood product administration, telemetry monitoring, IV insulin protocols, wound care/wound vac, tracheostomy care, PICC line management, and use of rapid response/code teams
