This position is primarily remote, allowing you to offer care from the comfort of your own home while providing flexibility to manage your schedule effectively. Our work hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evenings and weekend shifts on a rotational basis to accommodate the diverse needs of our clients. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist at Great Valley Counseling Center, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' symptoms, including the severity, frequency, and duration of their mood disorder symptoms.
\n
• Collaborating with clients to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs, goals, and preferences.
\n
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to promote healing and recovery.
\n
• Providing ongoing education and support to clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and essential self-care strategies.
\n
• Monitoring and evaluating clients’ progress closely, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
\n
• Working collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
\n
• Maintaining accurate, confidential documentation of assessments, client sessions, and treatment plans while adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Participating in regular case consultations, team meetings, and continued education opportunities to enhance personal and team clinical skills.

• Advocating for clients and promoting awareness to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health conditions.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current, valid license as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to establish meaningful connections with clients from varied backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years post-licensure experience specializing in mood disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
