Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to understand clients’ emotional and psychological states, from which you will develop personalized treatment plans using evidence-based practices.

• Apply therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to suit individual client needs.

• Maintain meticulous clinical records that comply with state regulations and HIPAA standards, ensuring confidentiality and integrity in patient care.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow mental health professionals to create cohesive treatment strategies.

• Participate in regular case consultations and peer review meetings aimed at enhancing therapeutic approaches and improving patient outcomes.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment options, and community resources to foster better understanding and support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will engage with a broad range of clients, including those facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. The diversity of the patient population reflects the multicultural environment of the Bronx, allowing you to gain experience with various backgrounds, perspectives, and treatment needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or Doctorate in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• An active, unrestricted license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York State.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish therapeutic alliances with clients that promote trust and open dialogue.

• Demonstrated experience in using solution-based psychotherapy techniques tailored to the unique needs of clients.
