Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity and frequency of mood disorders among clients, using structured interviews and standardized assessment tools.
• Develop, implement, and adjust personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, aligning with their unique goals and preferences.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address mood disorders and relationship issues.
• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and healthy coping strategies to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Regularly track and document client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans based on their evolving needs and feedback.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, ensuring comprehensive support for clients.
• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in mental health to continuously enhance therapeutic techniques and treatment strategies.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring all client information is protected.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
