Key Responsibilities

• Establish and nurture a trust-based therapeutic relationship with clients, fostering a safe space for them to express their feelings.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify mental health concerns, utilizing DSM-5 criteria for accurate diagnosis.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans aligned with clients’ specific needs, preferences, and life circumstances.
• Facilitate individual, couple, and family therapy sessions, employing evidence-based techniques to promote healing and understanding.
• Regularly assess client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure continued alignment with therapeutic goals.
• Engage in team discussions with other healthcare professionals, including psychologists and psychiatrists, to deliver integrated care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse population, including individuals dealing with relationship issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. The Remote LMFT will work directly with clients of varying ages and backgrounds, focusing on developing therapeutic strategies that reflect each client's distinct life experiences and cultural contexts.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential.
• A Master’s or Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Strong grounding in therapeutic methodologies, including CBT, DBT, and systemic intervention strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to create an empathetic and supportive environment for clients.
• Excellent conversational and writing skills, capable of conveying complex ideas in understandable terms.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with substance use disorders, including specialized training or certification in addiction therapy.
• Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities for dual diagnosis clients.

Compensation and Benefits
