Key Responsibilities

• Engage in comprehensive Child and Family team meetings to provide input on treatment strategies and participate in collaborative care planning.
• Conduct thorough client assessments to identify individual needs and strengths, followed by the development and implementation of effective treatment plans.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and discharge planning in compliance with agency regulations and ethical standards.
• Safeguard client confidentiality at all times, ensuring that all records are securely maintained and accessible only to authorized personnel.
• Provide expert diagnostic services to children and adolescents, utilizing evidence-based assessment tools and therapeutic approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position entails working closely with a diverse array of clients, particularly focusing on children and adolescents, as well as their families. You will engage with individuals facing a range of challenges, from emotional and behavioral issues to the complex dynamics of family relationships. The depth of this role allows you to tailor your therapeutic interventions to meet the unique needs of each client, ultimately contributing to improved mental health outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) credential.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience providing therapy or counseling services.
• An understanding of psychological theories, developmental milestones, and therapeutic interventions tailored to individual and family dynamics.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within a community health clinic setting.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual therapy methodologies.
• Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and family systems therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

Apex Medical Health Care Center offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $105,000 per year. In addition to a lucrative compensation package, we provide:
