Position Overview

Mile High Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. This full-time position offers a competitive yearly salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000, along with a sign-on bonus. Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to determine clients’ needs and therapy goals.
• Gather detailed patient history, utilizing established frameworks to ensure thorough understanding of client backgrounds.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based practices tailored to clients’ unique challenges.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate psychoeducation, relationship counseling, and therapeutic modalities such as structural family therapy or narrative therapy.
• Regularly document patient progress, including therapy notes and treatment plan adjustments, to track outcomes and facilitate continuity of care.
• Collaborate with other mental health professionals within the clinic to coordinate care and share insights into best practices.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health therapy and enhance clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients served at Mile High Counseling Center come from a variety of backgrounds and face a wide array of challenges, including relationship difficulties, family dynamics, and individual mental health issues. You will have the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, adults, and families, providing therapeutic interventions that empower clients to navigate their unique struggles and develop healthier relationships. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in marriage and family therapy or a closely related field.
• Current MFT license to practice in the state of New Jersey.
• Certification in one or more therapeutic modalities relevant to family and relationship therapy.
• At least one year of clinical experience post-licensure working with families and couples is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, with bilingual abilities considered a significant advantage.

Preferred Experience

Experience working in a community health setting is highly desired, as it will equip you with the skills needed to address the diverse and complex needs of our client population. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling practices is also beneficial, as you will engage clients virtually.
