Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mood disorder symptoms, evaluating their intensity, frequency, and duration.
• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their individual goals, preferences, and needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to promote effective coping strategies.
• Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and strategies for self-care.
• Continuously monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Work in coordination with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide a holistic approach to client care.
• Stay informed on the latest mood disorder research and advancements to continually enhance treatment methods.
• Uphold confidentiality and maintain accurate records per legal and ethical requirements, ensuring compliance at all times.
• Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge base.
• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs, addressing any stigma they may encounter while empowering them on their healing journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary range of $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
