Work Environment

The selected candidate will work remotely, leveraging telehealth technology to conduct therapy sessions and assessments from the comfort of their home. This flexibility is designed to enhance work-life balance, with a structured schedule that accommodates normal business hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients, evaluating the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms to inform treatment planning.
• Collaborate with clients to create customized treatment plans that align with their personal needs, aspirations, and preferences.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to provide effective interventions for mood disorders.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies to empower them on their recovery journey.
• Monitor and document progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting care strategies as needed to optimize client outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care, addressing all facets of the client's mental health.
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in the treatment of mood disorders to continually enhance therapeutic approaches.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records of client sessions and treatment plans, adhering to legal and ethical standards.
• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings to foster a culture of learning and professional growth.
• Advocate for clients, aiming to reduce stigma associated with mental health and ensuring their voices are heard and respected.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on clients experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. Stride Health Care Inc. serves a diverse population, encompassing individuals from various backgrounds, cultures, and life experiences. An understanding of the socio-economic and cultural factors that influence mental health will be essential in providing effective therapy.

Qualifications

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
• Experience with evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• A solid understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine desire to support and empower clients.

Preferred Experience

• Two years of post-license clinical experience working with mood disorders or similar mental health challenges.
• Experience in a telehealth or remote therapy setting is a plus, demonstrating adaptability and comfort with digital platforms.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care approaches and their applicability in therapeutic settings.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this role is competitive, offering between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
