Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify mental health challenges and provide tailored treatment for clients, considering their unique needs, strengths, and circumstances.
• Develop and implement individualized, family-centered treatment plans that emphasize cultural sensitivity and adaptability, ensuring that our services are relevant and effective for all clients.
• Deliver outpatient therapy sessions, utilizing modalities such as individual and family counseling while adhering to trauma-informed care best practices.
• Collaborate with fellow therapists, case managers, and support staff to ensure holistic and cohesive client care, sharing insights to improve treatment outcomes.
• Document clinical encounters, maintain accurate client records, and complete necessary clinical forms promptly, ensuring compliance with all programmatic and legal standards.
• Manage a caseload of clients, providing crisis intervention and support as necessary to respond effectively to acute mental health situations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Licensed Mental Health Therapist will serve a diverse population that includes children, adolescents, adults, and families facing varying degrees of mental health challenges. Our client base often includes individuals from underserved communities, which may require heightened cultural competence and sensitivity to effectively engage and provide services.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field is required.
• Possession of an active clinical license in California (LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW) is mandatory for this position.
• Strong understanding and application of trauma-informed care principles in therapeutic practice.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and uphold client confidentiality at all times, adhering to ethical standards.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with proficiency in using telehealth platforms effectively.

Preferred Experience

• At least three to four years of relevant experience working in a mental health setting, particularly with vulnerable populations.
• Experience using evidence-based practices and interventions to address a broad range of mental health issues.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation, ensuring timely and accurate client data management.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD $120,000 to $130,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package. This package includes health insurance, paid time off, retirement plans, and support for ongoing professional development and continuing education opportunities.
