Key Responsibilities

• Engage in collaborative consultations with prenatal care team members, including medical providers, midwives, and lactation consultants, to ensure holistic, integrated care for clients.
• Co-facilitate childbirth education and postpartum peer support groups alongside birth workers, enhancing the support network for new parents.
• Participate in community engagement initiatives aimed at promoting mental health awareness and empowering birthing individuals and their families.
• Actively involve yourself in clinical consultations and multidisciplinary co-learning environments to improve therapeutic techniques and client outcomes.
• Complete all required clinical documentation accurately and timely, adhering to organizational standards and regulatory requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with diverse populations, including pregnant individuals, new parents, and families seeking mental health support. Your practice will focus on providing therapeutic interventions that address a range of mental health issues, fostering resilience, and promoting overall well-being. By delivering culturally and contextually relevant care, you will have a direct impact on enhancing the mental health of your clients.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• Current licensure in California as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT is mandatory.
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective interactions with a diverse client base and interdisciplinary team members.
• A demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a remote setting while being proactive in seeking support and resources when necessary.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in working with prenatal populations or in perinatal mental health is highly desirable.
• Previous engagement in community outreach programs or mental health awareness initiatives is a plus.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and electronic health record systems enhances your ability to succeed in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 per year, depending on your experience and caseload.
