Trauma-Focused Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LPCC, LMFT, LCSW)

Position Overview

Miracles of Life Psychotherapy Center is in search of a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our caring team. In this full-time position, you will be instrumental in providing comprehensive mental health care to individuals impacted by various forms of trauma. Our outpatient services are designed to create a safe and supportive environment where trauma survivors can begin their recovery journey. Work Environment

This remote position provides flexibility, allowing you to deliver high-quality mental health services from the comfort of your home. The clinic operates Monday through Friday, typically between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, although some scheduling versatility is required depending on patient needs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' trauma history and establish appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet each patient's unique recovery goals and resilience-building needs.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) in individual and group therapy settings.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions to foster peer support and collective healing among trauma survivors.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated, holistic care that optimally addresses each patient’s mental health needs.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during acute trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients receive the timely care they need.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources to empower their healing process.
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Engage in regular case consultations, teamwork discussions, and ongoing professional development focusing on trauma-informed care methodologies.
• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually enhance your therapeutic skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of trauma survivors navigating the challenges of PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, each with unique experiences and needs. Your role is pivotal in helping them understand and process their trauma while promoting healing and resilience.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure in the state of California as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT.
• A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities is essential.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.
• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations, demonstrating strong crisis intervention skills.
• Competence in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications.
• A team-oriented mindset with the capacity to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, exceptional candidates with demonstrated expertise in trauma-informed care therapies may be considered. Familiarity with community health systems and resources in Sacramento is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 90,000 and 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
