Key Responsibilities\n \n Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health statuses via virtual meetings, ensuring strong, therapeutic rapport while prioritizing confidentiality and ethical standards. \n Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to the unique needs of each client. \n Provide ongoing therapeutic support to clients, employing various modalities, including individual therapy and group sessions, to address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. \n Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation within our EHR system, tracking progress and making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary. \n Collaborate with other healthcare providers and support networks, providing referrals to psychiatrists or specialized services when appropriate. \n Patient Population / Client Focus\n Your clients may vary widely in demographics and presenting issues, ranging from young adults facing academic stress to older adults dealing with life transitions. Many clients may experience complexities such as comorbid substance use disorders, anxiety disorders, or depression, necessitating a nuanced understanding of interrelated issues. Qualifications\n \n Valid and current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) in California. \n A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n At least four years of relevant clinical experience in a therapeutic setting. \n Expertise in various evidence-based therapeutic modalities and a deep understanding of cultural competence in mental health treatment. \n Competency in navigating electronic health record (EHR) software to manage patient documentation efficiently. \n Strong crisis intervention skills, with the ability to remain composed and proactive in challenging patient scenarios. \n Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to build trust and encourage openness with clients from diverse backgrounds. \n Preferred Experience\n \n Experience in delivering group therapy sessions or facilitating workshops aimed at skill-building and community support. \n Demonstrated ability to engage with patients using culturally responsive practices that respect and honor their backgrounds. \n Familiarity with substance abuse recovery frameworks and dual diagnosis treatment approaches. \n Compensation and Benefits\n We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
