Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify the mental health needs, challenges, and strengths of clients.
• Create and implement personalized treatment plans that are tailored to the specific goals and aspirations of each individual.
• Deliver high-quality virtual therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other therapeutic approaches.
• Maintain a commitment to professional development and stay updated on the latest in mental health practices and industry trends to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Counselor at Free To Be Wild Healing Therapy, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our mission is to provide tailored support to empower clients on their journey to wellness. You will engage clients through video sessions, creating a supportive atmosphere conducive to open communication and healing.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• An active California license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting is required.
• Demonstrated skills in providing culturally competent, evidence-based therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with telehealth platforms and delivering virtual therapy sessions is a plus.
• Familiarity with varied therapeutic modalities and an integrative approach to client care.
• Knowledge of local resources and community services in Santa Rosa, California, to enhance client support.

Compensation and Benefits
