Key Responsibilities

• Conduct secure and confidential remote therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families, utilizing leading telehealth platforms such as Zoom or Doxy.me.
• Perform comprehensive assessments to identify clients' relational dynamics and mental health concerns, developing tailored treatment plans and setting measurable goals to track progress.
• Utilize family systems theory and evidence-based approaches to facilitate discussions around relationship dynamics, communication barriers, and family stressors, helping clients cultivate healthy coping strategies.
• Provide immediate support and crisis intervention as applicable, ensuring that client safety is maintained and that appropriate referrals for additional support are made if necessary.
• Maintain meticulous electronic client records, progress notes, and treatment plans in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.
• Educate clients on effective communication techniques, conflict resolution strategies, and coping mechanisms to foster improved relationships.
• Collaborate closely with a team of therapists and mental health professionals to ensure the delivery of comprehensive care, sharing insights and strategies to optimize client outcomes.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities to stay informed about the latest research and best practices within the field of marriage and family therapy.

You will work with individuals and families facing a wide array of challenges such as relationship conflicts, parenting issues, and mental health concerns. Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.
• A master’s degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting providing therapy, specifically within the context of family systems.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for providing effective remote counseling and maintaining client records.
• A commitment to ethical practice and the confidentiality of client information.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
• Willingness to accommodate flexible scheduling to meet the needs of clients across different time zones.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience, and a comprehensive benefits package. This includes health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development and training.
