Remote Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) - Outpatient Focus

Position Overview

Forward Wellness Counseling, LLC is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our outpatient mental health clinic located in Battle Ground, Washington. This full-time position offers the unique opportunity to impact the lives of individuals, couples, and families facing a diverse range of mental health challenges. As an LMFT, you will engage in both individual and group psychotherapy sessions, with additional opportunities for family and couples therapy.

This position is remote, providing flexibility while maintaining a professional outpatient office atmosphere. Our clinic operates in a virtual space that emphasizes team collaboration. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual therapy sessions with adult clients, utilizing tailored therapeutic approaches.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions, providing support and guidance to encourage shared experiences and healing.
• Develop comprehensive assessment and treatment plans based on clinical evaluations and ongoing feedback.
• Implement best practices informed by the latest developments in the field of pain psychology.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate client progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
• Guide clients through brief therapeutic interventions in specialized cases, understanding their unique needs and circumstances.
• Ensure adherence to legal, ethical, and professional standards in all clinical interactions and documentation.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers within the clinic for comprehensive care solutions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LMFT will work with a broad spectrum of clients, primarily focused on adults experiencing mental health challenges related to chronic pain, trauma, and emotional distress. Our client's needs vary, requiring a multi-faceted therapeutic approach, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and mindfulness-oriented interventions. The ability to work sensitively with clients from diverse backgrounds and presenting issues is imperative for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Washington.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience in out-patient settings.
• Proven expertise in assessing and treating patients with chronic pain conditions is essential.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and an understanding of how trauma can affect mental health is required.
• Experience with EMDR or similar modalities is a valuable asset.
• Strong grasp of integrated therapeutic approaches to provide holistic mental health support.

Preferred Experience

• Experience employing Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
• Background working with the chronic pain and trauma population.
• An integrated approach to therapy, demonstrating versatility across different therapeutic techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time position ranges between USD 100,000 and 105,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Employees benefit from:
