Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental and emotional health by utilizing structured interviews and standardized assessment tools.
• Evaluate clients' needs and goals to design personalized treatment plans that guide therapeutic interventions effectively.
• Facilitate individual and couples therapy sessions, employing evidence-based approaches and therapeutic techniques tailored to each client's unique situation.
• Regularly revisit treatment plans to assess client progress, making adjustments as necessary to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
• Maintain thorough and accurate client documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and case histories, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and other healthcare providers to create an integrated care approach for clients.
• Respond to client crises with timely intervention strategies, offering immediate support and resources in challenging situations.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending training sessions, workshops, and staying informed of the latest research in the field of marriage and family therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Archbold Psychiatric Services, you will work with a varied clientele, including teens, adults, and couples, each facing a range of emotional and relational challenges. Your commitment to understanding their unique backgrounds and experiences will empower clients to navigate their struggles and improve their relationships, fostering healthier mental health practices.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.
• Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the State Board of Massachusetts.
• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and couples therapy, with a solid understanding of common therapeutic modalities.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting.

Compensation and Benefits
