Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations to accurately identify clients' mental health needs and issues.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on each client's unique goals, circumstances, and challenges, using evidence-based approaches and interventions.
• Facilitate individual, family, couples, and group therapy sessions, encouraging open dialogue and therapeutic engagement in a safe, respectful manner.
• Maintain meticulous, secure client records and documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards, ensuring clarity and transparency in all communications and treatment protocols.
• Engage in ongoing education and training to remain informed about the latest best practices, methodologies, and research in mental health care.
• Act as an advocate for clients, helping to connect them with community resources and services, empowering them to navigate their mental health journeys effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), Counseling (LPCC), or Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.
• A strong commitment to ethical standards and culturally sensitive practices within the mental health field.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, enabling effective connection with clients and teammates.
• Capacity to work autonomously while also effectively collaborating within a remote team environment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of three years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling is preferred, demonstrating a deep understanding of therapeutic practices.
• Experience with telehealth platforms and remote service delivery methods will be advantageous.
