Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients experiencing mood disorders, assessing the intensity, frequency, and duration of symptoms to inform treatment decisions.
• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique goals, preferences, and challenges.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to foster meaningful change and emotional growth.
• Educate clients and families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies, empowering them to take an active role in their mental health journey.
• Monitor client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans based on observable outcomes and feedback.
• Engage in integrated care practices by working closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic support for clients.
• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to continually refine therapy strategies and improve client outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards by maintaining accurate and confidential documentation of client interactions and treatments.
• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development workshops to enhance collaborative practice and professional knowledge.
• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs and work to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health issues within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LMFT at Vitae Health Systems, you will primarily work with couples and families experiencing relational distress, emotional difficulties associated with divorce, and other significant life transitions. Qualifications

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is essential.

• Possess a compassionate and nonjudgmental attitude towards clients' experiences and struggles, fostering an atmosphere of acceptance and understanding.
• Exhibit solid organizational and time-management skills, essential for managing caseloads and administrative responsibilities effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a community health setting or similar environment is highly valued.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities such as Structural Family Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Strategic Systems Therapy is preferred.
• Experience working with complex family dynamics, particularly related to divorce and relationship counseling, is desirable.

Compensation and Benefits
