Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient examinations and evaluations to assess mobility, strength, and functional capabilities.
• Design individualized treatment plans that address specific patient needs and goals, re-evaluating as necessary to monitor progress.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, healthcare providers, and fellow therapy staff to ensure continuity of care throughout the patient's treatment process.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment protocols, expected outcomes, and ways to facilitate rehabilitation at home.
• Document all patient interactions, evaluations, and modifications in treatment plans using our electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring adherence to all laws and regulations.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives that promote physical wellness, education, and the visibility of our rehabilitation services.
• Supervise and mentor support staff and interns, fostering professional development and adherence to best practices.
• Engage in continuing education and professional development to stay current with best practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Current state licensure in Physical Therapy, with certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred.

• Proficiency in word processing and the use of computer systems for patient documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist is required, candidates with specialty certifications or experience in specific rehabilitation areas, such as sports medicine or neurological rehabilitation, will be given preference. Compensation and Benefits
