Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of mental health needs for clients entering the detox program, employing evidence-based methodologies to inform treatment planning.

• Manage a caseload of clients with varying mental health disorders, providing regular psychotherapy sessions, progress evaluations, and consultative support.

• Conduct timely intakes and evaluations for new clients, allowing for timely intervention and support as needed.

• Provide crisis intervention and emergency counseling when necessary, addressing the acute needs of clients in distress.

• Facilitate referrals to appropriate external services for clients with serious mental health conditions requiring specialized care.

• Implement screenings for substance use disorders and coordinate referrals for appropriate treatment, including Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT).

• Engage in ongoing documentation of client interactions and treatment plans using electronic health record systems, ensuring compliance with best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCSW will work primarily with clients undergoing detoxification and recovery from substance use disorders. This role requires sensitivity and understanding of the unique challenges faced by individuals in this phase of recovery, including co-occurring mental health conditions. Our client base is diverse, representing various cultural, socioeconomic, and demographic backgrounds, and the ability to work effectively with this diversity is essential.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited institution, alongside a current LCSW license to practice in California.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We believe in rewarding our staff for their hard work and dedication. The salary range for this position is between USD 80,000 and 100,000 per year , commensurate with experience.
