Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and evaluations to understand clients' needs, strengths, and challenges, which will help you develop effective treatment plans.

• Provide individual therapy sessions employing various therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), uniquely designed for each client’s background and experiences.

• Collaborate with clients to set achievable therapeutic goals while continuously monitoring their progress, adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure their ongoing development and well-being.

• Facilitate teletherapy sessions for clients who prefer virtual interactions, ensuring access to mental health resources for those facing geographic or mobility constraints.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.

• Engage in ongoing education and training opportunities to enhance your clinical competence and stay current with evolving mental health practices and literature.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse client population that includes individuals grappling with trauma, anxiety, depression, and various other mental health issues. Your ability to build a trustworthy and empathetic therapeutic relationship with clients will be essential in providing the support they need to improve their mental health effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and current license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.

Promise Care values the contributions of our counselors and offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with caseload and experience.
