Description

• Conduct comprehensive assessments across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing established evaluation methods and observational insights.
• Create tailored treatment plans that target both immediate goals and enduring communication, cognitive, or swallowing challenges.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions concentrating on areas such as communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing mechanics.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team that includes physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to ensure integrated care delivery.
• Provide education and support materials to empower patients and families in engaging with the therapeutic process outside of clinical settings.
• Occasionally support inpatient evaluations and interventions to maintain consistency of care throughout the recovery journey.
• Keep meticulous and timely documentation consistent with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
• Engage with continuing education and collaborative opportunities to remain at the forefront of advancements in speech-language pathology.

Education

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is pending.

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of joining.
