Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to gather comprehensive information about client concerns, preferences, and treatment goals.

• Create and implement tailored treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address individual client needs.

• Facilitate weekly one-on-one therapy sessions, aiding clients in developing coping strategies, addressing trauma, and enhancing relationship skills.

• Collaborate with other health practitioners to provide a comprehensive support system for clients, including medical professionals and community resources.

• Provide crisis intervention services to clients experiencing acute distress, ensuring their safety and providing immediate support.

• Maintain accurate and confidential electronic client records in accordance with ethical standards and legal regulations.

• Participate in continuous professional development through workshops and training to stay current with evolving mental health practices.

• Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of counseling programs and initiatives within our organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on a diverse clientele facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Many clients may be navigating significant life transitions or grappling with past experiences, necessitating a sensitive and individualized therapeutic approach. You will play a vital role in helping them achieve personal growth and improved mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Valid licensure as an LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT in the state of California.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least three (3) years of experience providing counseling services to individuals and families facing emotional and mental health challenges.

• Demonstrated ability to build rapport quickly with clients from diverse backgrounds, fostering an inclusive therapeutic environment.

• Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is advantageous.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

As a full-time Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Sunflower Mental Health Counseling Center, you can expect a competitive salary ranging from USD 78,000 to 115,000 annually , commensurate with your experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
