Key Responsibilities

• Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' pain conditions and overall health to guide treatment decisions.
• Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate various therapeutic modalities, including medication management and non-pharmacological interventions.
• Medication Management: Oversee medication prescribing, adjustments, and monitoring for therapeutic efficacy and safety.
• Patient Education: Empower patients through education on pain management techniques, lifestyle modifications, and adherence to treatment protocols.
• Monitoring and Follow-up: Regularly follow up with patients to assess progress, adjust treatment plans, and address any emerging concerns.

Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required, with advanced training in pain management.
• Licensure: Must possess a current Nurse Practitioner certification and be licensed to practice in New York.
• Certification: Certification as a Nurse Practitioner is mandatory, and additional certifications in pain management are desirable.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a pain management setting, demonstrating proficiency in the management of various pain syndromes.
