Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to identify family dynamics and issues impacting functioning.

• Serve as a facilitator in therapy sessions, guiding families in exploring their challenges and enhancing interpersonal relationships.

• Design tailored therapeutic interventions and strategies informed by recognized best practices in family therapy.
\n
• Educate clients about the effect of specific behaviors on family dynamics and overall mental health.
\n
• Provide guidance in processing grief, stabilizing home environments, and developing healthy coping mechanisms, particularly for children.

• Continuously monitor progress towards therapeutic goals and adjust treatment plans as needed.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment updates in accordance with clinic standards.

• Participate in team meetings and case discussions to share insights and strategies with colleagues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will work with come from varied backgrounds and represent a broad spectrum of issues, including relationship challenges, parenting distress, grief and loss, and mental health disorders. By employing a family systems approach, you will address the interconnected issues that add strain to familial relationships while promoting resilience and growth.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.

• Valid and current state licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is necessary.

Compensation and Benefits\n
