Senior Accountant

Large Family Office in New York, NY is seeking a Senior Accountant for a full-time position! Responsibilities Perform daily bookkeeping activities for multiple individuals, trusts and legal entities, including transaction entries and reconciliations Initiate and process domestic and international wires Track and maintain accurate classifications of credit card expenses Generate reports for tax department for tax return preparation Support Payroll Manager as needed for household payroll processing Track and process payments related to real estate operations, private investments, household expenses, charitable donations and gifts. Assist with capital call and distribution processing for private equity fund investments, including calculating each member's pro-rata contribution, identifying funding sources, and initiating wire transfers for review and approval by CFO Tracking real estate expenditures and capital improvements Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and investment activivy Maintain organized accounting files in accordance with internal policies Qualifications 8+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience Strong understanding of bookkeeping and general ledger fundamentals Experience processing wires and payments, including confirmation of wire instructions Exceptional attention to detail, discretion, and organizational skills Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Ability to manage multiple priorities and multiple entities simultaneously Team player with excellent communication skills Exposure to household payroll processes preferred Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, in-office environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Social Capital Resources
