Accounting Manager

Summary - Everest Search Partners is conducting a confidential search for an Accounting Manager (Controller Track) to join a growing multi-entity organization with operations across the U.S. and Canada. Reporting to the CFO, this hands‑on role will lead the month‑end close process, oversee financial reporting, support audits, improve accounting processes, and help build a scalable accounting function. Responsibilities Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process for multiple entities. Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, and intercompany transactions. Prepare financial statements and management reporting packages. Support annual audits and coordinate with external auditors. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting. Maintain strong internal controls and identify process improvements. Coordinate accounting activities across multiple entities and outsourced resources. Support acquisitions and integration of newly acquired businesses. Partner with finance and operations leaders to support business decisions. Assist with tax, cash flow, banking, and other finance initiatives. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business. CPA preferred or actively pursuing. 4+ years of progressive accounting experience; public accounting or audit preferred. Experience with month-end close, financial reporting, and external audits. Knowledge of GAAP and/or IFRS. Multi-entity accounting experience preferred. Advanced Excel and QuickBooks Online or similar ERP experience. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Compensation: $100,000-$115,000 base salary plus bonus and comprehensive benefits. #J-18808-Ljbffr
