Work Environment\n

In this remote position, you will have the flexibility to manage your schedule while adhering to our Monday through Friday workweek. You will connect with clients via secure telehealth platforms, ensuring their privacy and comfort. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status upon initial visits.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices tailored to each client's needs.

• Provide ongoing individual and group therapy sessions focused on empowering clients and providing coping strategies.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in our electronic health record (EHR) system to track client progress and outcomes.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and support staff, to ensure a holistic approach to each client's care.

• Engage in crisis intervention strategies and provide immediate support during challenging client situations.
\n
• Participate in regular staff meetings for case presentations, training opportunities, and best practice discussions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients experiencing mental health challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and eating disorders. Our program specifically aims to address the unique needs of individuals in the local Tallahassee community, promoting cultural competence and tailored interventions to enhance client engagement and treatment outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW in the state of Florida.
\n
• A minimum of two years of direct experience in a clinical mental health setting.

• Demonstrated knowledge of various mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Experience conducting therapy with both individuals and groups using culturally responsive techniques.

Compensation and Benefits\n
