Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Located near Naperville, IL, this position offers a consistent weekly schedule and the chance to develop close connections through a manageable caseload.

You’ll be working onsite, serving 3rd–5th graders in a self-contained autism program. With an estimated nine students per week, you’ll have the time and attention to focus on their individual growth and development.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Professional Educator License (PEL)
• LBS1 endorsement required
• Experience or strong interest in working with students on the autism spectrum
• Ability to collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Strong communication, organization, and adaptability in the classroom

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored, engaging instruction to meet IEP goals for students in the program
• Develop individualized lesson plans that address emotional, behavioral, and academic needs
• Monitor student progress and adapt strategies as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with staff, families, and related service providers
• Foster a supportive, structured classroom climate that encourages growth and independence
