Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments through video sessions, documenting essential client information from the initial consultation to the conclusion of treatment.
\n
• Evaluate clients’ mental, behavioral, and emotional conditions, using standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews.
\n
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate engaging and therapeutic individual and group therapy sessions aimed at enhancing coping strategies and emotional resilience.
\n
• Maintain meticulous progress notes to track client outcomes and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as required.
\n
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and primary care physicians, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
\n
• Identify potential barriers to recovery and proactively develop strategies to address these challenges effectively.
\n
• Provide guidance and support to family members and caregivers to help them navigate the complexities of mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse client population, ranging from children and adolescents to adults and families facing various mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will be instrumental in creating a safe and affirming space where all clients feel valued and understood, ensuring that they receive tailored therapeutic interventions that correspond to their unique life experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
\n
• A proven track record of successfully clearing the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated proficiency in electronic health record systems, especially AVATAR, for efficient client documentation and management.
\n
• Comprehensive understanding of common physical and emotional health conditions, along with familiarity with addiction disorders.
\n
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, aimed at promoting clear understanding and rapport with clients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in a mental health counseling capacity, with a focus on telehealth services.

• Knowledge of guidelines and best practices as outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• In-depth understanding of pharmacological treatments and their implications on mental health.

• Strong interpersonal and empathetic skills, demonstrating the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.

Compensation and Benefits\n
