Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations, developing personalized treatment plans that address the individual needs of each client.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Facilitate therapeutic sessions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, tailoring techniques to promote engagement and foster growth.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of client information.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic care, contributing insights based on your expertise in mental health counseling.

• Engage in continuous professional development, attending workshops and staying abreast of innovative mental health practices and research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our counselors primarily serve individuals and families facing barriers to accessing traditional mental health care. This includes those dealing with various mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and relationship difficulties. You will play a significant role in improving the lives of clients who may have had limited access to care, providing them with the guidance and tools necessary to navigate their challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of New York.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a counseling role, particularly in a clinical setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
