Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate symptoms of mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.

• Collaborate closely with clients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their unique goals and preferences.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address mood disorders.

• Provide education and support regarding mental health conditions and treatment options, ensuring clients and their families are well-informed about the journey ahead.

• Monitor client progress meticulously and adapt treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Work closely with psychiatrists to coordinate care, including medication management and integrated therapeutic approaches.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in the field of mental health and share insights with team members.

• Lucidly document all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in adherence to legal and ethical standards.

• Act as an advocate for clients, promoting the destigmatization of mental health issues and ensuring their voices are heard.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing a variety of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression and anxiety-related conditions. You will work with clients from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, requiring a compassionate approach and cultural sensitivity to address their unique experiences effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.
\n
• Strong proficiency in therapeutic modalities, particularly in treating mood disorders.
\n
• Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to establish rapport with clients.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with at least two years of post-licensure experience specializing in mood disorders will be highly valued. Experience in utilizing evidence-based practices and maintaining successful client outcomes in challenging therapeutic settings is also preferred.
