Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive mental health assessments, leveraging tools and methodologies to capture patients' unique histories and current challenges.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic interventions, personalized to align with the individuals’ cultural and personal contexts.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing a wide range of mental health concerns and fostering resilience in our patients.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals to ensure optimal, coordinated patient care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support, utilizing crisis management best practices to stabilize patients in emergency situations.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment methods, coping strategies, and local community resources to encourage informed decision-making.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of patient information.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through participation in case conferences, team meetings, and cultural competency training sessions.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and clinical practices to continually enhance the quality of care provided to our patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapeutic services provided at Blaze Health focus on a richly diverse clientele, including individuals from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds as well as the LGBTQ+ community and immigrant populations. You will have the opportunity to work with clients with a wide range of mental health diagnoses, facilitating therapy that resonates with their unique cultural narratives and lived experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current license as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.
\n
• A solid understanding of mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and the importance of cultural competence in therapeutic practice.

• Proven experience providing individual and group therapy in culturally responsive ways.

• Strong crisis intervention abilities with a calm demeanor in high-pressure scenarios.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to establish rapport effectively with a diverse range of clients.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and electronic documentation requirements.

• A commitment to upholding professional ethics, confidentiality, and boundaries.

• A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework.

Preferred Experience\n

Preferred candidates will possess a minimum of two years of post-graduate experience in mental health counseling, with demonstrated engagement in culturally competent therapeutic practices. Experience providing services to underserved populations is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
