Accounting Receivable SpecialistThe Accounting Receivable Specialist computes, classifies, records, and verifies numerical data for use in maintaining accounting records by performing the following duties.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Communicate with the warehouse and marketing team about customers' ordersBill customersCollect payment from customers and accurately record it into the systemProcess accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and proceduresMaintain bookkeeping databases and spreadsheetsReconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly postedVerify discrepancies and resolve customers' billing issuesFacilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and customer statementsGenerate reports detailing accounts receivable statusAssist with processing of payroll cycles as requiredRun payroll reports on payroll cycles as requiredSupervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities.Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Should understand the proper booking process for foreign currency transactions.Education and/or Experience High School diploma or equivalent and 3+ years related experience in processing accounts receivable and payroll. Should understand the proper booking process for foreign currency transactions.
