Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to gather insights into the severity and duration of mood disorder symptoms presented by clients, utilizing standardized evaluation tools.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that align with clients' personal goals, preferences, and clinical needs, incorporating evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Facilitate therapeutic sessions, both individually and in groups, addressing issues related to mood disorders, anxiety, depression, and interpersonal challenges.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders and effective self-care strategies, ensuring they have the resources necessary for ongoing recovery.

• Monitor client progress diligently, making data-informed adjustments to treatment plans to optimize therapeutic outcomes.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, fostering an integrated care approach that supports holistic healing.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will primarily focus on serving individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. The patients you'll encounter come from various backgrounds, including vulnerable populations such as those experiencing homelessness, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse. Your empathy and understanding will help create a safe space for these individuals to explore their emotions and work towards recovery.

Qualifications\n
