Staff Accountant

Soni is partnering with a growing organization seeking a Staff Accountant to support month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, variance analysis, cash reporting, and broader accounting projects.
This is a strong opportunity for an accountant who wants broad exposure across the accounting function and the chance to work closely with finance leadership. Responsibilities:- Support month-end close and preparation of financial statements
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Assist with balance sheet and income statement reporting
- Analyze actual results against budget and identify key variances
- Support cash reporting, analysis, and forecasting
- Maintain intercompany balances and support consolidation activity
- Prepare recurring financial reports and management schedules
- Support audit requests, internal controls, and compliance-related projects
- Maintain accurate financial data and assist with ad hoc accounting projects
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 3-5 years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, close, and reconciliations
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- Highly detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with accounting, finance, and business teams
- Manufacturing or related industry experience
- Financial statement preparation and variance analysis experience
- Exposure to intercompany accounting or consolidations
- Cash forecasting experience
- SOX, audit, or internal controls exposure
