Junior Accountant

Junior AccountantOur company is growing at an unprecedented rate, and we are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, solid Excel skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.The Junior Accountant will report directly to the Accounting Supervisor and will play a key role in supporting day-to-day accounting operations.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with the preparation of financial statementsAnalyze and reconcile bank statements and general ledger accountsPost journal entries for accrued expenses and revenueManage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processesMaintain and record fixed assetsPrepare and file local compliance reporting as requiredAct as a liaison with vendors to resolve billing discrepanciesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting preferred2+ years of related accounting experienceHands-on experience working with general ledger accountsProficiency with QuickBooks or similar accounting softwareStrong Microsoft Office skills, particularly ExcelStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent problem-solving and analytical abilitiesAbility to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environmentProfessional and customer-focused approach when interacting with vendors and internal teamsPreferred QualificationsExperience in SaaS accounting environments
