Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions within an outpatient setting.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques, such as manual therapy, exercise regimens, and modern rehabilitation equipment.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting therapy techniques as necessary to optimize health outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and the expected outcomes, empowering them to participate actively in their recovery.
• Provide training for patients and caregivers on the effective use of assistive devices to enhance mobility and independence.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, participating in professional associations, and staying informed on the latest research in the field of physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In our Fort Myers Beach clinic, you will primarily work with a diverse outpatient population, including individuals recovering from surgical interventions, sports-related injuries, age-related conditions, and chronic pain syndromes. Our commitment to personalized care enables each patient to feel supported and understood throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and their families.
• Proficiency in documentation and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR).
• A flexible and adaptable approach to patient care, with an eagerness to learn and grow.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of experience in an outpatient setting is preferred but not required.

Compensation and Benefits
