What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with diverse conditions such as respiratory failure, sepsis, stroke, DKA, and post-cardiac procedures
• Manage patient therapies including CVL, foley caths, tube feedings, arterial lines, and insulin drips
• Monitor patients closely, adhering to RN: 1:3 patient ratios
• Demonstrate proficiency in EKG interpretation and pass a competency exam
• Collaborate with hospitalist, RT, PT, OT, and other team members
• Document care accurately using Meditech Expanse EMR
• Support unit activities such as patient assessments, medication administration, and procedures

What You Need

• Active RN license in Louisiana
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Ability to pass EKG competency
• Skills in CVL management, arterial lines, and drip titration

• Experience in stroke or medical-surgical units
• Flexibility to float to different units as needed
