Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required
• Active Kansas State Teaching License with appropriate endorsement
• Preferred: Licensure in school psychology, social work, or school counseling
• Previous school-based behavior specialist, BCBA, or similar experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated experience in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Strong background in implementing data-driven and research-based behavior interventions
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Travel between schools to support a K-12 caseload across multiple districts
• Perform comprehensive FBAs and develop individualized BIPs
• Support students by implementing positive behavioral strategies and interventions
• Provide on-site consultation, coaching, and crisis intervention when needed
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to foster positive outcomes
• Deliver behavior and classroom management training to school staff
• Maintain thorough documentation, reporting progress using data collection methods
