Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments through initial consultations, documenting the client's mental and emotional health journey from assessment to treatment completion.

• Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of clients, which can include strategies for crisis intervention and long-term recovery.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities to foster healing, growth, and connection among participants.

• Continuously monitor and evaluate clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

• Maintain detailed and accurate records in electronic health record (EHR) systems like AVATAR, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

• Engage in multidisciplinary teamwork, collaborating with psychiatrists, social workers, and family members to create a cohesive support system around each client.
\n
• Utilize preventive approaches to identify and mitigate behaviors that could hinder clients’ recovery, therefore enhancing therapeutic outcomes.

• Support clients’ family members in understanding and managing mental health challenges collectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and other mental health issues, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each person. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Professional (such as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) recognized in the state of Georgia.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Proven experience providing mental health counseling, showcasing your ability to both connect with clients and implement effective interventions.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, is advantageous to improve workflow efficiency.

• Knowledge of best practices set forth by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively document and communicate client progress and treatment outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits\n
