Work Environment\n

This position is uniquely remote, allowing you to connect with clients and colleagues from the comfort of your own space, while still benefiting from the collaborative dynamics of our multidisciplinary team. The work schedule is primarily Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate patient needs. Utilizing advanced teletherapy platforms and electronic health records, you will engage with clients effectively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ backgrounds and needs, ensuring a deep understanding of their trauma history before developing treatment plans.

• Create individualized treatment plans aimed at fostering trauma recovery, resilience, and overall mental well-being by incorporating therapeutic interventions tailored to each person.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate recovery.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to assist patients in processing their experiences, developing coping strategies, and promoting healing.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated and comprehensive patient care.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety and stability.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and resources, equipping them with knowledge for better mental health management.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation, adhering to legal and ethical standards to protect privacy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must possess current and valid licensure as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health capacity focused on trauma is preferred.

• Comprehensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 annually.
