Work Environment\n

This position is designed for a remote work setting, allowing you the flexibility to operate from home while engaging meaningfully with patients. You will work a Monday to Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some possibility for flexible hours depending on patient needs. Your primary tools will include secure telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems to ensure smooth patient interactions and documentation.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to determine patients’ needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Deliver various evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational groups that address mental health concerns, encouraging peer support and community building.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.

• Offer crisis intervention services and support during mental health emergencies with a focus on risk management.

• Provide education to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and available resources within the community.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Valid and current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York.
