Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity serving preschool children as a Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF) in Carbon or Lehigh County. Provide essential early intervention services while gaining invaluable hands-on experience in a supportive educational setting. This role offers a diverse caseload with the potential to work with PreK through 12th grade, perfect for those eager to broaden their skillset and flexibility throughout the school year.

Key Qualifications:

• Active provisional or temporary Pennsylvania SLP license required
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (or in progress for CFY eligibility)
• Experience or strong interest in school-based/preschool intervention services
• Ability to adapt to changing caseloads, serving students from PreK to 12th grade
• Reliable transportation for itinerant assignments within Carbon or Lehigh County
• Strong collaboration skills for working with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Must be available for in-person work only

Responsibilities:

• Deliver itinerant SLP services to preschool children, with possible caseload changes during the school year to school-aged students
• Assess students’ speech and language abilities and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Implement targeted therapy plans, track progress, and maintain compliance with federal and state regulations
• Collaborate closely with other educators, therapists, and families for optimal student outcomes
• Participate in meetings, training, and professional development as required

This contract spans from July 2026 through June 2027, following the Early Intervention calendar (subject to school year adjustments). With a schedule of 35 hours weekly, you’ll interact with diverse students while expanding your expertise in school-based therapy.
