About the Role:
Join SALS BISTRO & BAR LLC as our Kitchen Manager/Head Chef, where you will lead a passionate culinary team in crafting unforgettable dining experiences. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise and creativity in a vibrant bistro atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation.
Develop and implement innovative menus that reflect current food trends and customer preferences.
Manage inventory, ordering, and food cost control to maximize profitability.
Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean kitchen environment.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
Monitor and evaluate kitchen performance, making adjustments as necessary to improve efficiency.
Engage with guests to receive feedback and enhance menu offerings.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Head Chef or Kitchen Manager in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Strong culinary skills with a passion for creating diverse and high-quality dishes.
Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
