Location: Fredericksburg, VirginiaCompensation: $80,000 - $100,000 base + up to $150,000 in bonusesCompensation includes a competitive base salary plus performance-based incentives. Our work brings together Public Housing Authorities, municipalities, developers, investors, and community organizations with one common goal-creating stronger communities and expanding access to quality housing.As we continue to grow, we're looking for someone who enjoys meeting people, building relationships, and creating opportunities that make a lasting impact. About the RoleWe're looking for a Business Development Manager who loves opening new doors.This is not a role where you'll spend your days responding to posted opportunities or writing proposals. Instead, you'll be the person helping Leumas discover opportunities for our proposal team to respond to.You'll build relationships with Public Housing Authorities, local governments, and pension funds. You'll learn what's happening in the market, uncover future investors and clients, and introduce Leumas long before an RFP is ever released.Your work will help ensure our leadership team is sitting at the table early-building trust, understanding community needs, and positioning Leumas for long-term success.Simply put, you'll help create tomorrow's opportunities today. What You'll DoNo two days will look exactly the same, but your focus will be on building relationships and finding opportunities.You'll:Develop relationships with Public Housing Authorities, municipalities, investors, and strategic partners. Develop relationships with Public Pension Plans.Reach out to Executive Directors, housing officials, and community leaders to introduce Leumas and schedule meetings. Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities for executive leadership. Track outreach efforts and opportunity progress using our CRM. Attend industry conferences, networking events, and community meetings to represent Leumas and expand our network. Work closely with leadership to determine which opportunities are the best strategic fit for the company. What Success Looks LikeOur ideal candidate is consistently:Building relationships with new Public Housing Authorities and Public Pension Plans. Opening new doors with decision-makers. Bringing qualified opportunities to our leadership and proposal response team.Keeping a steady pipeline of future RFPs in front of the company.
