Pay Rate: $17.00 - $18.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors at the front desk by following site-specific procedures and access protocols for a utilities location.
• Monitor lobby activity, verify credentials, manage visitor check-in and/or sign-in processes, and report unusual or suspicious activity to the appropriate contact.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services or site leadership when appropriate.
• Answer phones, provide directions, maintain front desk logs and records, and support day-to-day security-related administrative duties in accordance with Allied Universal standards.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by observing entry points, controlling access to designated areas, and following established post orders and client-facing procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
